The primary method for setting up your Linksys EA series router is using your computer. However, you also have the option of setting up your router using your mobile device through the Linksys app.

Before you begin, make sure to have the following:
NOTE: Router images may vary depending on the model of your router.

Step 4:
Check the boxes if you have read and accepted the License Terms and to report router errors to Linksys. Tap Next.
Step 5:
Check the box to install future router updates automatically. Tap Next.
Step 6:
Customize your Wi-Fi name and create a password. Tap Next.
NOTE: If you want to use the same name for both radio bands, tap on Give all my Wi-Fi bands the same name.
Step 7:
Once the Wi-Fi settings are applied, connect your mobile device to the new Wi-Fi name in order to continue. Once you're connected to the Wi-Fi, go back to the app and tap on Next.
Step 8:
Create a new router password and hint then tap Next.
Step 9:
Your router is now set up. Tap Next.
Step 10:
Associate your Linksys server account to access your router from anywhere. If you already have an account, tap on Sign in. If you want to create an account, tap Next.
Step 11:
Enter your Linksys server account credentials then tap Log in. If you don’t have an existing account, tap on Create an account.
Step 12:
After logging in or creating an account, tap on Add to Account to link your router to your Linksys server account.
Step 13:
Enter the router password you created for the router. Tap on Add to Account. You can now have secure access for your router from anywhere.
