You can access your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi using any of the following:
NOTE: Your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi is accessible via web browsers in Windows®, Mac® and iPad®. To know more about the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi system requirements, click here. Another option is to access it through a mobile device via the Linksys app. For more information about the app, click here.
Follow the steps below to learn how to access your router locally.
Enter your router’s default IP address, "192.168.1.1", or type "myrouter.local" in the Address bar then press [Enter].
- If the IP address does not work or if it has been changed, check your Linksys router's IP address.
- If you encounter a bad gateway error upon trying to access your router, click here for troubleshooting instructions.
Enter your Router Password then click Log in. The default password is admin. If you have changed it, enter the new password instead.

- If you encounter several failed log in attempts, this may lead to your account being temporarily suspended. In case you can’t remember your password, you may opt to perform a password reset. To learn more about this, click here.

NOTE: The Device List is displayed as the Network Map Tool on some of the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers. The External Storage is displayed as USB Storage among Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers with older firmware version.
Accessing your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi remotely allows you to manage your Wi-Fi so you can specify or modify your router settings securely anytime, anywhere. Follow the steps below to learn how:
Launch a web browser and enter “linksyssmartwifi.com” in the Address bar then press [Enter].
NOTE: Make sure that you are connected to the Wi-Fi before doing this.
Enter your Email Address and Password in the fields provided then click Log in.
