How to set the Linksys EA4500 v3 to Wireless-N network only for the 5 GHz band

If you ONLY want to use your Wireless-N network, you need to change the Security mode to WPA2 Personal. 
 
Follow the steps below to learn how:

 
Step 1:
Access your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Account.  To know how, click here. 
 
NOTE:  If you haven’t set up a Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Account, click here to know how to create, activate and associate your account to your router.
 
Step 2:
Click Wireless on the left navigation pane under Router Settings.

Step 3:
Under the 5 GHz’s Security mode section, click on the drop-down button and select WPA2 Personal. 
 
NOTE:  By default, the Security mode is set to WPA2 Personal.

Step 4:
Change the Network mode to 802.11n Only.  Then, click Ok.
 
NOTE:  This change allows only the 802.11 wireless devices to connect to the 5 GHz band.

Step 5:
A pop-up window similar to the one below will appear.  Click Yes.

Step 6:
To apply your changes, click Ok.

QUICK TIP:  Setting the Security mode to WEP, WPA Personal or WPA Enterprise will disable the Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) feature as well as the Wireless-N network mode.
