Configuring two Linksys RE7000s with a Linksys Max-Stream router for Seamless Roaming

Scenario:

In this scenario, we will be using a Linksys EA9500 Max-Stream™ AC5400 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router and two Linksys RE7000 Max-Stream™ AC1900+ Wi-Fi Range Extenders in the network.  Since Seamless Roaming is already part of the latest firmware for all three products, there is no need to enable this feature.  However, you must make sure that the wireless settings are the same on all three devices and it is recommended to enable the 802.11r option on both Linksys RE7000s.

NOTE:  The 802.11r is supported only on Linksys RE7000 v1 and not on Linksys RE7000 v2.
