Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) securely adds devices to your WiFi without having to enter a network name and password. With the Linksys app, you can easily connect your devices to the network using WPS.
NOTE: The device that you want to connect must also support WPS. The Linksys app supports Android™ and iOS devices only.
This article will guide you on how to connect a device using WPS in the Linksys app. Follow the instructions below depending on your device's operating system.For iOSFor AndroidFor iOS
Connect your mobile device to your router's WiFi then open the Linksys app.
Tap Manage Your Wi-Fi.
You will be prompted to log in using your Linksys cloud account. Enter the necessary credentials and tap Log in.
NOTE: You can also choose to log in using your Router Password.
On the Dashboard, tap the menu icon on the upper-left corner.
Tap Wi-Fi Settings.
Scroll down and select Connect a Device With WPS.
Toggle the WPS switch to turn it ON and tap Connect.
NOTE: Be sure to push the WPS button within two minutes to connect your device.
On your mobile device, tap the Linksys app.

On the Dashboard, tap Wi-Fi.
NOTE: You may also tap the menu icon at the top-left side of the Dashboard to access Wi-Fi Settings.
Tap the Connect a Device With WPS option.
Tap the Connect button to start WPS pairing. Make sure you do the same on the device you want to connect to the network. Once you press the Connect button, a 2-minute countdown begins.
When the device is found, the device name will appear on Devices.
When the slider button is set to OFF, WPS will also be turned OFF on your router or node and the following message will display.
NOTE: WPS is NOT available when your security mode is set to WEP, MAC filtering is ON, or Broadcasting is OFF.
