Troubleshooting the WeChat video feature not working with the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers

Scenario:  When using the WeChat app to make a video or voice call, it will either be disconnected or the WeChat app crashes right after the call was picked up.
 
To fix this issue, it is recommended that you disable the Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) feature of your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router.  To learn how, follow the steps below:

Step 1:
Access your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi through a web browser.  For instructions, click here.
 
Step 2:
Click Connectivity.

Step 3:
Click the Administration tab then uncheck the Enabled box next to UPnP.

NOTE:  The UPnP feature is enabled by default on all Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers.
 
Step 4:
Click Apply then Ok.
           
You have now successfully disabled the UPnP feature on your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router.
