Setting up Media Prioritization on the Linksys EA9300

The Media Prioritization feature of the Linksys EA9300 Max-Stream AC4000 Tri-Band WiFi Router allows you to give high bandwidth allocation to gaming consoles and applications that connect to streaming or real-time media services. 

Before you begin:

Make sure to connect the device or computer (that you need to prioritize) to your router's network.

Follow the steps below to learn how to use Media Prioritization on the Linksys EA9300's web interface.
 
Step 1:
Access your Linksys cloud account.  For instructions, click here.

Step 2:
Click on Media Prioritization.

Step 3:
Toggle the button to ON.

Step 4:
Drag and drop Devices from the Normal Priority list to the High Priority section.  You can prioritize up to three devices.

Aside from Devices, you can also allocate higher bandwidth priority to Applications or Online Games.  To do this, simply repeat Steps 1 to 3.  And, instead of choosing devices, select applications and online games from the available drop-down list.  To know how to add new applications or online games, click

Step 5:
Click Ok to apply the settings.

You have just completed the steps to prioritize the gaming consoles, applications, and online games using the Media Prioritization feature.
