Overview of the status light on the Linksys Cognitive Mesh products

The Linksys Cognitiveâ„¢ Mesh nodes have one status light that gives you information about its operation.

Before you begin:

  • Parent node - The parent node is the node that is connected to your modem or internet source.
  • Child node - The child node is an additional node such as another Linksys Cognitive Mesh product that you can add to extend your WiFi network.
