- How to disable ESET NOD32 Antivirus on a Windows® computer
Some antivirus applications may interfere with your Linksys router's installation. In order to perform the setup without any interruption, temporarily disable your antivirus. Once the installation is completed, you may then re-enable your computer's antivirus application.
NOTE: A computer running on Windows® XP and with ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 installed is used here as an example.
You should now have temporarily disabled the ESET NOD32 Antivirus. Install your Linksys router successfully and after doing so, be sure to re-enable protection by clicking the Protection status icon then selecting Enable protection.
