Overview of the Device Info tab of your Linksys E9450 WiFi 6 Router

The Linksys E9450 WiFi 6 Router has a web interface that you can access to configure and customize the router.  This article will provide an overview of the Device Info section and the options that are available for you to manage the router properly.  To learn how to access the router's web interface, click here.

Summary

This section contains the following information:

 
  • Firmware Version:  Shows the firmware version of the router       
  • Wireless Driver Version:  Indicates the version of the wireless driver
  • Uptime:  Shows the uptime in days, hours, minutes, and seconds
  • LAN MAC:  Shows the MAC address of the device         
  • Serial Number:  Specifies the serial number of the device


A summary of the internet connection status is also available on this page and displays the following applicable details:
 

  • Internet Status:  Shows the status of the connection 
  • LAN IPv4 Address:  Indicates the local IP address of the router
  • Default Gateway:  Shows the default gateway IP address
  • Primary and Secondary DNS Servers:  Specifies the DNS server address/es
  • LAN IPv6 ULA Address:  Displays the unique local IPv6 address 
  • Default IPv6 Gateway:  Shows the IPv6 default gateway address
  • Date/Time:  Shows the time and date information

This section provides a table on the internet connection status of the router and contains the following fields:

Statistics
 
  • LAN
This section shows the LAN received and transmitted statistics; the number of transported bytes and packets through multicast, unicast, and broadcast traffic per interface; and the total bytes, packets, errors or dropped data for each interface.
 
  • WAN Service
This section shows the received and transmitted WAN statistics; the description for the WAN interface; the number of transported bytes and packets through multicast, unicast, and broadcast traffic for each WAN interface; and their corresponding total number of bytes, packets, errors or dropped data.

Route

This page provides a routing table with the following fields: 

 
  • Destination:  Signifies the destination IP address for the connection
  • Gateway:  Indicates the IP address of the device in the next hop where the frames will pass through
  • Subnet Mask:  Contains the destination subnet mask for the connection
  • Flags:   Describes the following route status:
  •  
  • U:  Up
  • !:  Rejected
  • G:  Gateway
  • H:  Host
  • R:  Reinstate
  • D:  Dynamic (redirected)
  • M:  Modified (redirected)
 
  • Metric:  Specifies the cost efficiency of using the route
  • Service:  Indicates the service used in the route 
  • Interface:  Indicates the interface of the device in the next hop

ARP

The ARP page shows the following information:

 
  • IP address
  • Flags
  • MAC Address
  • Device

DHCP

This section shows the DHCP lease time for a device and provides the following fields:

 
  • Hostname
  • MAC Address
  • IP address
  • Expires In

CPU & Memory

This page shows the performance and usage history of the CPU and memory. 

Flow Statistics

This section shows the flow statistics of various parameters for the monitoring and management of the network.
