Rated 1 out of 5 by from Keeps disconnecting and never give full speed I bought 7 routers and connected them. I was really shocked the the poor performance. 1- It disconnect frequently and I have to open the app almost daily to restart routers. 2- I never got the speed that's coming to the router, it comes 400-500 Mbps through the cable and the router gives me 180 Mbps maximum .. VERY DISAPPOINTING. 3- If I want to connect a new device to the network I have to take the device to the main router and connect it from there, otherwise it won't connect. Imagine buying 7 routers and this is what you experience !! .. You will never buy any product from them again and this is what I'm going to do

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Linksys MR7500 Mesh Widi 6e router This router is mesh compatible and can accommodate my internet speed of 1200 MBs because of the 2.5 gig wan port. Not the best 2.4 or 5 gig Wi-Fi performance. I don’t have any 6e devices to check that performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MR7500 works great Only installed for 24 hours but is working great so far. Experiencing faster speeds overall. This replaced an EA9300 router. This is the 3rd Linksys router I have had and would not install anything else. The only small problem was setting up the new router with the mobile app. I had to close out the old Linksys Smart Account, uninstall the Linksys mobile app then reinstall the Linksys mobile app in order for the app to recognize the new router.

Can I use my old Linksys range extenders with the Hydra Pro 6E?

Asked by: Anonymous
Depending upon the age of your extender it may work with the mr7500.  This router has great range and you may not need your extender. I use a couple of Linksys velop tri-bands with this router and the connectivity throughout my multi story home is flawless.

Can we see a chart comparing distance from the router versus the average up/download speeds one would get at various distances from say 5 feet away to 200 feet away, on each of the various connection bands? (walls & wires within walls will lessen speeds)

Asked by: Great Scott
Since there are so many variables with wireless signal in a home, Linksys probably would not have a chart that you are asking for.  I can tell you that I have this router in my multi-level 2500 sq ft home and have excellent signal strength everywhere in the home.   I was so impressed with this router that I bought another one for our 2nd home which is also multi-level.  You will not be disappointed with this router.

Can I restore my network from an EA9500 to this router so that i do not have to start from scratch???

Which mesh add-ons work well with the Hydra Pro 6E? Building a 6000SF house and need at least two more wifi locations (i'm hardwiring them with CAT 6a).
