|Tools / Settings||Description and Image|
The Device List displays the list of devices that have connected to the Velop system.
The Guest Access page allows you to configure your dual-band Guest Wi-Fi settings. Your Guest Wi-Fi uses WPA2™ Wi-Fi encryption.
|Parental Controls||The Parental Controls is used to manage usage and block internet access on a connected device or of specific sites per device.
Device Prioritization allows you to prioritize internet usage per device. High Priority devices (wired or via Wi-Fi) will always stay connected. Normal Priority devices share the leftover capacity. Drag and drop devices to change from normal priority to high priority and vice versa.
NOTE: It is recommended to put devices used to stream videos or play online games and other demanding applications on High Priority.
The Device Prioritization page uses the results of a speed test to determine the amount of your internet capacity to direct to high priority devices. If you feel the results of the Velop speed test are inaccurate, you can input the speeds manually. It is important that the numbers are accurate to get the most out of this feature. It is recommended for you to go to http://speedtest.net on your laptop or contact your internet service provider (ISP) to find your actual speed and then enter it manually.
An automatic speed test will begin when you open the Device Prioritization page.

|Speed Check||The Speed Check feature helps measure the download (from the internet) and upload (to the internet) speeds of your Wi-Fi. Speed Check is a good way to find out whether you are getting the level of service provided by your ISP.|
Download Speed is the rate at which internet content is transferred to your Velop system.
Upload Speed is how quickly you can upload content to the internet.
NOTE: Speeds can vary depending on many factors, including how many devices are connected to your Wi-Fi and what those devices are doing.
|External Storage||This External Storage feature of the node allows you to connect an external storage device into the USB port on the node and share the entire drive.|
NOTE: This feature is only available on the Linksys MX5300 Velop AX Whole Home WiFi 6 System.
The following settings will be displayed:
When Authentication is ON, access to the storage device will be available only to those who have the username and password that you have set. Authentication is disabled by default.
|Connectivity||The Connectivity page has the following tabs:
|Troubleshooting||The Troubleshooting page allows you to diagnose and troubleshoot problems you may be having in your network. It provides useful information about your connected devices and network details. You can also reset or restart your Velop system on this page.
|Wi-Fi Settings||The Wi-Fi Settings page allows you to change the wireless configuration of your Velop system.
NOTE: To configure advanced Wi-Fi Settings, please contact Linksys Support.
|Security||The Security page allows you to keep your Wi-Fi safe from internet threats. You can also configure port forwarding and DDNS settings.
