Scenario: I have two Linksys RE6800 on the network but only one appears on the Network Map page.
When two or more of the same devices are on your network but only one is showing on the Network Map page, manually configuring DHCP Reservation may be necessary. Follow the steps below to learn how.
Step 3:
Once the device is reserved, click on Edit DHCP Reservation.
Step 4:
On the DHCP Reservations page, click on Manually add device reservation to add another device of your choice like another mobile device, range extender, or router.
Step 5:
Click Save once you're done.
You have now successfully configured DHCP Reservation for the similar devices on your network.
IMPORTANT: The Velop web interface does not support the steps above. Any changes done using the Velop web interface may cause the Linksys app to respond differently. For example, decoupling the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands using the web interface works but the Linksys app will only see and report on the 2.4 GHz network. By design, the Velop web interface is for troubleshooting only so all changes for Velop must be done using the Linksys app.
