Linksys LAPAC2600C is not connecting to the network when using port 2

Scenario:  My Linksys LAPAC2600C neither connects to the network nor goes online when using port 2.  What could be the problem?

If you have updated the access point to the latest firmware that supports the Linksys Cloud Manager 2.0, port 1 becomes your primary port.  For now, we are currently working on a fix to enable port 2.

In the meantime, move your ethernet cable from port 2 to port 1 to get your access point back online.
