Older versions of Linksys Connect and the Network Magic add-on for Mac® computers have compatibility issues with the release of OS X® Lion 10.7 and OS X Mountain Lion 10.8. Only Linksys Connect versions 1.4.11222 and higher are compatible with the OS X Lion and OS X Mountain Lion operating systems.
NOTE: Currently, only the E900's, E1200's v2.2 and E2500 v3's Linksys Connect version 1.5.16287.0 is compatible with the OS X Mavericks 10.9, OS X Yosemite 10.10, OS X® El Capitan 10.11 and macOS™ Sierra 10.12. To verify if your product is compatible with the different Mac OS X versions, open the Release Notes from the Downloads file of your Linksys device. If you are unable to complete the initial Linksys Connect setup for your Linksys Wi-Fi Router when using the Lion or Mountain Lion operating system, it is recommended to continue setting up the device manually using the web-based setup page.
