Checking and Configuring the IP Address of the Network Attached Storage

The NAS200 is a Network Storage System with 2 Bays.  This device helps you store, share and access music, photos, videos or any digital media and files over your wired or wireless network, or the Internet.

This article will guide you on how to check and configure the IP address of the NAS200.

Step 1:
Access the web-based setup page of your NAS200.  To learn how, click here.  If you are using Mac, click here.

Step 2:
When the web-based setup page is up, click Administration Login.

Step 3:
Under the Administration tab, click System Options on the left pane.

Step 4:
Under the Index section, select IP Address to check and configure the network settings.

Step 5:
Select Obtain IP Address Automatically (DHCP Client) if you have a router or DHCP server that is automatically assigning an IP address.

To manually configure your Network Storage System’s network settings, select Fixed IP Address and enter the following:

IP Address – Enter the device’s IP address and make sure that it is on the same Local Area Network (LAN) segment as the router or the computer where the Setup Wizard was installed.

Subnet Mask – Enter the Subnet Mask, which must match the subnet mask of the other devices on your network.  The  default subnet mask is

Gateway – Enter your router or DHCP server’s IP address.  The default IP address of a Linksys router is
