Setting Up a Password for the Network Attached Storage

The NAS200 is a Network Storage System with 2 Bays.  The device helps you store, share and, access music, photos, videos or any digital media and files over Wi-Fi or the internet.

This article will guide you on how to setup a password in accessing the Network Attached Storage web-based setup page.

Step 1:
Access the network storage’s web-based setup page.  To learn how, click here.  If you are using a Mac® computer, click here.

Step 2:
Click Access My Files.


Step 3:
Click Personal Info under the My Files section on the left pane. 
NOTE:  The default User Name is admin and it cannot be changed.


Step 4:
Enter the current password that you have in the Current Password field. 

Step 5:
Enter the new password in both New Password and Confirm New Password fields. 

NOTE:  Create a new password with a minimum length of eight alphanumeric characters.

Step 6:
Click Save to apply the changes.


You should now be able to access your Network Attached Storage device's web-based setup page using the new password.
