Accessing the Linksys RE7000 and RE7350’s web-based setup page

The Linksys RE7000 and RE7350 can easily extend your WiFi to hard-to-reach locations in your home.  Follow the instructions below to access your range extender’s web-based setup page.

Step 1:
Open a web browser.

Step 2:
There are three methods in accessing the Linksys range extender’s web-based setup page:

  • Enter "https://extender.linksys.com" in your browser.  Make sure that you are connected to your Linksys range extender.

  • For Windows® and Android™, enter “https://RE7000-xxx” (replace RE7000 if your device is RE7350), where xxx are the last three characters of the Linksys range extender’s MAC address.  The MAC address is located at the back label of the device.

NOTE:  If you changed your Linksys range extender’s name, you will need to use the custom name (eg. https://MyAP).

For Mac OS® X or iOS, enter “https://RE7000-xxx.local” (replace RE7000 if your device is RE7350), where xxx are the last three characters of the Linksys range extender’s MAC address.  The MAC address is located at the back label of the device.

NOTE:  If you changed your Linksys range extender’s name, you will need to use the custom name (eg. https://MyAP.local).

  • Enter the Linksys range extender’s IP address.

NOTE:  If the Linksys range extender does not detect a DHCP server, the default IP address is 192.168.1.1.  Otherwise, you will need to look up your range extender’s IP address in the DHCP Client Table.  To know how to do this using a Linksys WiFi Router, click
here.  If you are using a Linksys Smart WiFi Router, click here.

QUICK TIP:  Some options may not be available if your range extender is in Access Point mode due to the design and functionality of an access point.

Step 3:
You will be prompted for an administrative Password.  If you have changed your password, enter your customized password.  Otherwise, enter the default "admin" in the appropriate field then click Login
