Designed especially for today's mobile-device household, the AC3200 Tri-Band Smart WiFi Router offers exceptionally fast combined speeds of up to 3.2 Gbps*, up to double the speeds of a dual-band router*. Smart Connect technology prioritizes traffic across the two 5GHz WiFi bands to deliver the fastest possible speeds for all connected devices*. High-bandwidth applications are routed to the high-speed 5 GHz bands, while lower-bandwidth activities utilize the 2.4 GHz band.

The AC3200 wireless router features three fixed internal antennas and three adjustable external antennas, which provide six powerful streams of data to your devices--ensuring complete coverage of your home. Better coverage means faster Internet speeds wherever you are. And the three external antennas are removable and replaceable, making your wireless router customizable.

The AC3200 is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core CPU and 3 integrated co-processors for a total of 2.96GHz of penta-core processing power. This means the AC3200 is capable of handling multiple high-speed data streams at once--delivering faster WiFi speeds to more devices without diminishing individual speed or performance*.

The AC3200's Beamforming technology focuses wireless signals at a receiving device rather than simply sending out WiFi in a general direction. It increases the efficiency of your network and expands its range, enabling multiple household members to enjoy simultaneous high-bandwidth activities like streaming and gaming.

Four Gigabit Ethernet ports let you connect more devices and share files 10 times faster than with standard Ethernet. Two USB connections--including one ultra-fast USB 3.0 port--are ideal for connecting shared network storage devices as well as a range of other peripherals.

With the Linksys Smart WiFi App, you can closely monitor and manage your home WiFi remotely using a smartphone or tablet.

  • Guest Access: Create a separate, password-protected WiFi network for up to 50 guests and easily share the password.
  • Parental Controls: Ensure a safe Internet experience for your kids -- even when you're away from home. Restrict access to inappropriate or distracting content, control usage, and block specific devices from accessing the Internet.
  • Device Prioritization: You can prioritize devices that need the most speed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very happy For the price I thought this would be a good router, however it is constantly kicking me off wifi. I have an air 2 iPad and an iPhone 6splus along with several other wired and wireless devices. On the iPad when ever I am streaming I constantly get messages saying I have no wifi. Netflix will tell me it can't play the video but will only play audio until my connection is better. If I watch my wifi signal it regularly changes to lte then back to wifi. If I connect to another wifi then back to mine, it constantly changes to the other wifi even if it says mine is stronger. Unless I can figure out why this is happening, it is my last Lyncsys router

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do. Not. Buy. I bought this route to provide my house with a stable fast connection through the entire home. My isp router has limited range, unfortunately range is about all this thing does. I've had $50 routers do a better job. After hours spent attempting to setup the router I finally was able to run a speed test! Sadly it was at half the speed of my isp. I connected to the 5ghz and was around my isp speed. Then the magic started, the magic of signal dropping! For $150 I'd expect it to at least hold connectivity for more than 15 minutes. But I know that's allot to ask for this day in age. Luckily I have my trusty isp router, guess I'll go but a range extender.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not reliable I've had two units, first replaced by Linksys and both have problems; reset on their own, and not update firmware. Worked with support on first one due to stop working and reset randomly...Linksys replaced it. The second one doing the same thing and now that new firmware is out it won't take update...errors out. I've had two support tickets with the Linksys technical team and they cannot figure why the random reset issue nor the lack of being able to update the firmware. Reset issue: router stops working and resets e.g. front logo blinks for nearly a minute, then starts working again. On a few occasions when it didn't return to service I had to remove power for a minute.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible speed/easy setup The most important thing you can do with this router is separate the the Network name and passwords between the 5GHz and 2.4GHz channels and all your problems go away. This router hit's speeds of over 130.00Mbps on my samsung note 4 phone. The size of the router fits in fine in our home office but it may be a little on the large size for some applications. Great purchase and great price, thanks Linksys.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Router I brought this router 1 week ago, I had a Linksys lower level router and it worked great so I upgraded to the EA9200 and all my devices are streaming movies and data much faster. I like the feature I can access the router's mapping and tell which device is on 5GHz and which device is on 2.4GHz. This router is worth the money if you are looking for speed. I have two Ruko's in my home r=trying to lower the cable bill and with both Ruko's running on the 5GHz they are fast no delays with streaming movies and at least 5 other devices on the 5GHz and 2.4GHz and you have no latency. I would recommend this router 1000%. I have been a Linksys customer for the past 15 years and will never change my brand

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Linksys AC3200/EA9200 This is an excellent tri-band wireless router (2ea 5GHz, 1ea 2.4GHz). I purchased it for the additional bandwidth and extended range within the house. I previously had some dead spots for the wireless connections which this router covers easily (I believe this is due to the 3 external antennas). Also, the additional 5GHz bands allowed me to separate my devices and distribute the load across the bands. Its been in use now for six months with no problems or issues. Works well with both tablets and laptops. Highly recommended

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Linksys EA9200 AC3200 Purchased the Linksys EA9200 AC3200 Tri-Band Wireless/LAN Router with the hope of controlling 3 PCs (LAN) and 4 laptops (GUEST). Everything is as I expected, system works great, setup was easy, excellent range (whole house coverage) 2.4 and 5.0 GHz frequencies keep devices moving smoothly and no down time as a result of a EA9200 Router problem. There is one issue Linksys needs to address, sometimes the router will display a device name for two devices using the same device name. This caused some concern for me as I use the device name to know who is on the system, MAC Addresses are not easy to remember. Thank you Linksys!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Band Steering, and your wifi adaptor Hi Guys, This one is for you people suffering from the band steering kicking you off all the time. I have an Asus PCE AC68 wifi card in my pc, and i could not get the band steering to work properly, it just kept kicking me off, see my earlier review as to what i thought it was. I have done a lot of messing about, after i turned the band steering off, i realise my adaptor was not seeing the 5GHz2 band, even though it was seeing the 5GHz1 band. i played with a lot of settings on my adaptor, including setting the adaptor for united states region, by hacking the INF file. after i did this, it could then see the 5GHz2 band, but without being able to connect it. i set the timezone on the EA9200 to united states, and turned band sterring off, after a reset to both adaptor and router, it worked. After once again switching band steering back on, my adaptor no sees to 5GHz1 bands with different channel, one at 36, the other at 149, i cannot connect to the router at 149, but it automatically switches to this band when i am doing high intensity network streaming, i take it, this is how the band steering works? Anyway, i am now a happy camper, after a year or so of messing about, its finally working great. Maybe Linksys might want to add all this up and see what they can do ? By the way, i am in the phillipines at present, this is where the router was bought, though i initially set the router to the uk, which may well of been one of the problems, if you look at the wikipedia 5GHz band page, you will find out in the table that shows which countries use what channels and how. if anyone requires any help, just reply, and i will do my best.

*Specifications are subject to change without notice. An active, customer-purchased Internet Service Provider broadband account is required for connection of this router and other connected computers and devices to the Internet. Some devices may require additional wireless adapters or an Ethernet cable to connect to this router. Maximum performance derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Actual performance may vary, including lower wireless network capacity, data throughput rate, range, and coverage. Performance depends upon many factors, conditions, and variables, including products used, interference, and other adverse conditions. 802.11ac 3200 Mbps is up to 2x faster physical data rate when compared to 802.11ac 1600 Mbps Wi-Fi routers. An 802.11ac adapter may be needed to achieve 11ac data rates. In order to achieve the best performance, router must be used with a compatible AC1300 wireless device. The standard transmission rates--3.2 Gbps or 3200 Mbps are the physical data rates. Actual data throughput will be lower and may depend on the mix of wireless products used and external factors.
