Easy Setup
Installed in Dec 2015. Replaced two old Linksys 5-port 10/100 Switches (which are 8 years old still working!). So far no comm issues. Speed is 1 gigabyte to older cpu's on some old cat-5 runs. Plug and play!

not bad
As I understand it, the last version was oriented to the back of the device, it was much more convenient for a home or small office. Now it turns out to be a good device, with a terrible way to install it. But still 4 stars.

Plug and play literally
I originally looked at buying this then convinced myself it was more than I needed so I bought a Linksys 5 port switch and immediately discovered the 5 port wasn't enough so I returned it and bought the LGS108. It is literally plug in the cables and the switch is smart enough to sort it all out untended. The lights are on the front that shows connection and network traffic. It really could not be easier than it is.
