Features
-
Quality of Service (QoS) Traffic Prioritization
Numerous QoS features prioritize traffic, ideal for real-time voice and video applications & high bandwidth graphic or video uploads and downloads.
-
Network Expansion Features
Build a mesh of switches easily with features like Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) and Storm Control. They help control planned or inadvertent cable loops so you can expand your network with confidence.
-
Advanced Network Security
Ensure data passes to authorized clients only with Port authentication and MAC-based port security. Advanced DHCP snooping and IP-MAC binding functions assure network integrity and help prevent attacks.

the hardware dose what it advertised to do
Bought this one more than six moth ago, so I have played around with it for a while now. Won’t submerge into technical details, that’s not my area of expertise. But what I cant say is, that I’m happy with it and the hardware dose what it advertised to do.
Want to point out one more thing, these switches are passively cooled so there are no fan noise. This was one requirement I had at the time I bought these, but there was no info to be found anywhere about this on Linksys page.

Does a lot for the money
Works flawlessly and provides just about everything I need - next time I'll upgrade to the PoE version. I'm running phones, open and closed WiFi, and desktops on separate VLANs and link aggregation to NAS units. Works like a charm (but you have to know what you are doing).
