The RE3000W range extender delivers a coverage area of up to 5,000 square feet by repeating and redistributing the signal from the router to eliminate dead zones. It boosts your router's coverage to tablets, smartphones and computers.

Extend your Internet access in 3 easy steps:

  1. Connect the power cable.
  2. Plug in the range extender midway between your router and the area without WiFi.
  3. Once a solid light appears on the range extender cover, connect to the WiFi network "Linksys Extender Setup."
Spot Finder Technology

Linksys Spot Finder Technology directs you on finding the right placement for the RE3000W, and it works on any smartphone or tablet. Simply follow the prompts to make sure you're getting the best possible WiFi signal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works ok a little difficult to setup I bought this because I did not get good signal through entire house. You need a wirelessly connected computer to set it up, which I don't have. Once set up and placed where you want it it works well except it drops the phones I have connected to it occasionally. It's like the connection times out. Restarting wifi on the phone fixes it but it's annoying. Otherwise it works ok. Price is good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GOOD WIFI EXTENDER I reallly do love how the wifi is now much more spread around . The wifi barbis at a complete full all the time . The only con of this product is that it can freeze up sometimes but it goes back to normal after a couple of seconds

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Low price, inconsistent performance I have used this unit for the past 2 years and finally have decided to upgrade to something more powerful. I get very inconsistent performance and have spent way too many hours changing its location, walking around with a WiFi analyzer, fiddling with channels, and so on. Our house is less than 2000 sq ft and this unit can't push the signal reliably to the farthest bedroom. Plus I would like to benefit from the 5 GHz where I can.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from STILL WAITING TO SEE IF IT WORKS I bought the extender a couple of weeks ago and have still not been able to get it working in spite of the terrific support given to me by Linksys. The problem is that my router was set up with the simplest of security (WPA Personal) and the extender will not work with this setting. According to the Linksys technician, the router setting needs to be WPA-2 Personal and because my router is so old and not under warranty, the technician was not able to assist me to change router settings and I did not wish to have to reset all of the devices on the network. Since I had been thinking of a new and faster router, anyway, this seemed like the time to make the move which I did....to another Linksys router. What really disturbed me, however, is that if I had only waited 10 days or so, I could have gotten the extender free with the purchase of the router on "black Monday (today)'

*Range specifications are based on performance test results under normal use case conditions. Actual ranges will increase or decrease depending on wireless obstructions, operating environments and building material. Wireless coverage claims are used only as reference and are not guaranteed, as each wireless network is unique.
**Maximum performance derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specification. Actual performance can vary, including lower wireless network capacity, data throughput rate, range and coverage. Performance depends on many factors, conditions and variables, including distance from the access point, volume of network traffic, building materials and construction, operating system used, mix of wireless products used, interference and other adverse conditions.
