Wemo Light Switch 3-Way

The Wemo Smart Light Switch allows you to control lights and ceiling fans from the wall, the Wemo App, or with your voice*. This smart light switch connects to your existing home WiFi network to provide wireless control of your lights with no subscription or hub required. Now compatible with 3-way light configurations, the Smart Light Switch can be installed almost anywhere. From porch lights to ceiling fans to recessed lighting, it can control nearly anything that a traditional light switch can and only requires one Smart Light Switch per 3-way circuit. Whether you're unwinding on the couch, working at a coffee shop, or vacationing in the Caribbean, you'll be able to remotely control your home lighting from anywhere.

Wemo Light Switch lets you easily set automatic schedules for any light. Using the free Wemo App, you can schedule your lights to turn off at sunrise, or synchronize your porch light with the sunset so you never come home to a dark house.

The Wemo 3-Way Smart Light Switch can replace traditional 3-way switches commonly found in hallways or stairwells, where two switches control the same light. Only one Smart Light Switch is required per 3-way circuit.

With the ability to randomize your lights, Wemo Light Switch protects your home better than a mechanical timer. When set to Away Mode, Light Switch will turn lights on and off randomly to make it appear like youre home even when youre not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easily reached and reliable I live in a 2 story house and late in the evening my mechanical timers on the first floor turn the table lamp off. Buying a Belmont 3 way switch has enabled me to turn on a ceiling light upstairs remotely so the stairs are lit when I go to bed. The upstairs light is controlled by 3 switches so one of the switches is a 4 way switch. So the circuit has two 3 way switches, one either side of the 4 way switch. I installed one Belkin 3 way switch in place of the existing 3 way switch nearest the light. All switches operate the light as expected and now I can also control the light remotely. Great product. I control the light automatically now with Apple Home

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long awaited 3 way. Most of my newly build home is automated with Wemo light switches and dimmers. Now that 3 way is here can automate most of the 3 way switches. With the exception of some 3 way dimmers. The programming was originally tricky since it seems to try and configure the switch in apple hone app. (Using iPhone) After resetting it could get it added to wemo app. The switches are more elegant than the two way switches, maybe in time will replace them with 3way look too. Integration with wemo and google home is seamless. I would like to see more belkin home automation products., the integration of WiFi in products make installation and configuration simpler.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like the 3 Way Capabilities but I recently bought this switch because I was looking for a way to control my fan. Belkin talks about how you can now control your fan but doesn't mention that it only turns the fan on or off and cannot control the speed of the fan like the GE z-Wave fan switch. It also requires apple homekit when setting up on an Iphone which I don't really care for either. I already use the Wemo and Alexa apps, why do I need another one? I rated this good because it does what it is intended but they should really clarify what they mean by controlling a fan. Most smart switches can turn a fan on or off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly what I've been waiting for! I've been waiting literally for YEARS for there to be a Wemo for a 3-way light switch. My house is full of these 3-way switches. I just received my first and installed it. I'm not an electrician but I did figure it out (although my wiring looked different). It's key to take a picture of the original switch before you go disconnecting stuff. One thing I did have an issue with was joining it to my network. It kept wanting to pickup my upstairs access point while my phone was on another one. They just weren't talking. I finally went upstairs and disconnected the access point and was able to join the network, so all is well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice switch It's a nice looking switch. Easy to install straight forward instructions on what to do as far as hardware. Software wise setting up was a challenge. I tried three different times from apple products; iPhone & iPad and from the instructions to actual screenshots were way different. I ended up resetting multiple time which I give thumbs up which is very easy and understanding on how to do. After the the second reset I just pulled out an android device and got the switch setup as a 3 way switch with ease. I would recommend when setting up with less hassle, use an android device and after that all shows up in apple devices.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than iDevices and Lutron I have a 2-switch box and iDevices and Lurton did not fit because the back of the switch was too wide (rounded edges on the metal box caused issues). Belkin has a smaller footprint and worked perfectly. Setup was difficult as I had to restart my phone and router several times, but it finally worked. Belkin needs to fix the software to match their smart dimmer. Long press works instantly on the smart dimmer but takes an additional 5 seconds on this switch. Also, Belkin’s faceplates are really nice but they don’t have a 2-switch version. They should really make some 2, 3, 4 switch versions for purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this light switch! I love this light switch. It's my first as I've started setting up my smart home. The switch was very easy to install and setup, and I'm planning to buy more. One important thing - the switch works with both standard single pole switches and 3-way switches. It works with my Google Home Hub, very convenient and foolproof so far. I'm still playing with the various modes but do like the auto-off feature. I plan of putting these in s few important downstairs locations to start, then add them to all the closets and bathrooms. I'll definitely have these installed throughout the house before our next vacation so I can automate the interior lighting to make it appear someone is home.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible connectivity problems - not recommended I purchased four of these and had them professionally installed by an electrician. Three of four are always showing offline, one can be controlled in the app but not at the wall, and the fourth works as designed. Keep top of mind this is in a house with over five years where many Wemo switches and plugs have been in use without issue, including a non-3 way Wemo switch controlling the front door lighting. No changes have happened in router setup or wireless network settings. When they don't work, you cannot turn on or off the light using the Wemo physical switch. You are then forced to use the 2nd switch assuming you installed this on a shared connection. This product is just not ready for market.
