Printing wirelessly from your Android device through the HP® ePrint Home & Biz application

HP® ePrint Home & Biz is a free application available for both Android and iOS devices which allows you to print digital content to any HP® ePrint-enabled printers at home, in the office or on-the-go.  It also detects and automatically sets up an available HP® ePrint-enabled printer connected to the network for fast and easy wireless printing. 

To learn how to print wirelessly from your Android device through the HP® ePrint Home & Biz application, follow the steps below:
 
Step 1:
Connect your Android device to the wireless network.

Step 2:
Tap the HP ePrint Home & Biz application.
 
 
Step 3:
Select the source of the digital content you want to print:
 
 
Photo Albums – Select this option if you want to print image files saved on your Android device.
Documents – Select this option if you want to print documents such as PDF files, MS Word or MS Excel documents saved on your Android device. 

 
NOTE:  In this example, an image file from the Photo Albums is selected.
 
Step 4:
Tap the album or the folder containing the file you want to print.
 
Step 5:
Select the file you want to print.
 
NOTE:  For image files, you will automatically be prompted to crop the image. 
 
Step 6:
Once you have cropped the selected image, tap the Arrow  button to configure the following printer settings:
 
 
For image files:
 
 
Printer – Allows you to choose which HP® ePrint-enabled printer you want to use.  If you only have one active HP® ePrint-enabled printer in your network, it will be set as the default printer.
Paper Size – Allows you to adjust the size of the paper you want to print the file on.
Paper Type – Allows you to select what type of paper you will use in printing the image file.
Print Quality – Allows you to set the quality of the printing you want.
Color Mode – Allows you to select between colored printing or black and white printing.
Copies – Allows you to set how many copies of the file you want to print on a single session. 

 
For Documents
 
 
Printer – allows you to choose which HP® ePrint-enabled printer you want to use. If you only have one active HP® ePrint-enabled printer in your network, it will be set as the default printer.
Paper Size – Allows you to adjust the size of the paper you want to print the file on.
Orientation – Allows you to set the document in Landscape or Portrait orientation.
Print Quality – Allows you to set the quality of the printing you want.
Color Mode – Allows you to select between colored printing or black and white printing.
Copies – Allows you to set how many copies of the file you want to print on a single session. 

 
Step 7:
Once done, tap on the Back button to go back to the print preview.
 
 
Step 8:
Tap Print to begin the printing process.
 
 
 
The printing process should automatically begin. 
 
QUICK TIP: If you are encountering issues while trying to print from your mobile device through the HP® ePrint Home & Biz application, check the following:

• Ensure that your HP® ePrint Home & Biz application is registered with HP® ePrintCenter.  To learn how, click here.
• Ensure that the HP® ePrint-enabled printer is powered ON.
• Ensure that the printer is not encountering any issues such as a paper jam.
• Ensure that the printer is connected and shared over the same network.
• Ensure that the printer is setup and installed properly.
