- How to disable the Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 2010 software
Some anti-virus applications may interfere with your Linksys wireless-N router installation. In order to perform the installation without any interruption, we recommend that you temporarily disable your anti-virus software.
The information on this article is provided as reference. It is recommended that you contact the application developer for proper disabling instructions since anti-virus applications are frequently updated.
NOTE: Once the Linksys wireless-N installation is completed, you may then re-enable your anti-virus software.
Disabling Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 2010
The following steps will show you how to temporarily disable the Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 2010 software.
Double-click the Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 2010 icon located at the bottom-right corner of your Desktop.
Click Settings at the top-right corner of the Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 2010 window.
Click Protection at the left pane.
Uncheck Enable protection then click on the OK button at the bottom to apply your settings.
You should have successfully disabled the Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 2010 software now.
