Setting up PlayStation®4 using Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers

The Playstation®4 features capabilities to connect to the internet.  This feature enables users to play games online or stream videos using their console.  


This article will provide you with steps on how to connect your Playstation®4 to your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi router.  Click on the links below:

Step 1:
Make sure that your Playstation®4 is connected to one of the LAN ports in your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi router.

Step 2:
From the home screen of your console, press the up button.  Then select Settings > Network.

Step 3:
Select Set Up Internet Connection > Use a LAN Cable > Easy.

Step 4:
Select Test Internet Connection.  Once you are connected to the internet, you can now return to home screen.
 
Step 1:
From the home screen of your console, press the up button.  Then select Settings > Network.

Step 2:
Select Set Up Internet Connection > Use Wi-Fi > Easy.

Step 3:
From the list of all available wireless networks, select your wireless network name (SSID).  If your router has a wireless network password, enter the password and select OK.

Step 4:
An option to use proxy server will appear, select Do Not Use.

Step 5:
Select Test Internet Connection.  Once you are connected to the internet, you can now return to home screen.

Congratulations you have successfully connected your Playstaion®4 to your network using the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi router.
