The Linksys Velop Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System sends flawless, full-strength Wi-Fi across your entire home.  Each node increases the Wi-Fi range by 2,000 sq. ft. and you can continue to add more nodes to grow your Velop network.  This article will guide you on how to identify your child nodes, check its details, and identify which node your child node is connected to.

Directions

Step 1:
Log in to the Linksys app and access your Velop dashboard.  For instructions when using an iOS device, click hereIf you're using an Android™ device, click here.

Step 4:
Tap on a child node (e.g., Master Bedroom).

QUICK TIPS:
  • Nodes appear by the location name you selected during setup.
  • The parent node is the main node connected to your existing network or router.  The parent node is the first node on the list of nodes and all others are considered child nodes.
  • If your other nodes are not showing up in the Network Administration screen, you may need to add them to your Velop network.  Click here for instructions.
