User-added image

Setting up the Linksys Velop Intelligent Mesh WiFi System is easy through the Linksys app.  The Linksys app automatically identifies the nodes to be set up and it provides an animated setup guide explaining the entire process.  In addition, each node has an integrated Bluetooth® radio, making the setup process secure, seamless, and simple.  Follow the steps below to learn how to set up up your first node using an Android™ device.

2.  A mobile device running on at least Android™ 4.1 or later

IMPORTANT:  After setting up your node, change the Velop’s admin password.  A random, secure admin password was created during setup (this password will not be displayed).  Use the admin password to log in to your Velop system if you don’t have an internet connection or if our server is temporarily down for maintenance.  To learn how to change the admin password, click here.
