Check the IP address of the computer
Check the wireless settings of the Linksys gateway

Check the browser’s proxy settings
If you have proxy settings, you need to disable these on your computer. If a computer is accompanied by a gateway for the Internet connection, it no longer needs to get any proxy settings to gain access.

Ping the gateway
A Ping test helps trace the communication between the computer and the gateway. The computer sends packets to the gateway, in return the gateway sends out replies to validate the connection.
