Accessing External Storage when Using MAC

External storages such as USB flash drives and External hard drives will automatically be detected once connected to a MAC computer. The storage connected will also have an icon available on the desktop as a shortcut to access files and folders in it. For instructions, follow the steps below.

Accessing External Storage when Using MAC

Step 1:
Connect an external storage to your MAC computer, and it will automatically create an icon on the desktop. We used a USB flash drive in the example below.

Step 2:
Double-click on the external storage icon, USB, to access the files and folders. You may also use ctrl+click on icon (USB) then click Open to access the external storage.
