Overview of the Linksys Powerline AV Utility

Network Status
Quality of Service

To access the configuration utility for Windows, click Start > All Programs > Linksys > Linksys Powerline AV Utility.  For Mac®, go to the Hard Drive icon > Applications > WireConf.

Network Status

The Network Status tab displays the details of the powerline adapters that are connected to your network.

      •    Devices List – shows the Device Name, Model, MAC Address, and Quality.

      NOTE:  You can check the devices that are connected to your powerline adapter by clicking the Refresh button.

      •    Detail Information – shows the Device Name, Firmware Version, and Device Password.

The Security tab is used to manually change the network key for each device.  To learn how to set up a security on powerline adapters, click here.

Quality of Service

The Quality of Service tab is used to specify how the network prioritizes network bandwidth.


The Administrator tab lets you perform a Restart, Restore and Upgrade process.  The Software Version and Support Website are also provided in this tab.
