ISP login issues when setting up the Linksys X2000 and X3000 gateway using Linksys Connect

In setting up your Linksys X-Series ADSL2+ gateway (X2000 and X3000) using the Linksys Connect setup CD, you may be asked for the username and password from your Internet Service Provider (ISP) multiple times.  When this happens, continue to enter your account credentials as this is just a normal process where Linksys Connect is trying to set up your Linksys X-Series gateway.

Once you are able to connect to the Internet, you may then be able to easily manage your network using the Linksys Connect software.

QUICK TIP:  Closing and re-launching the Linksys Connect software will trigger an automatic update that will resolve the issue.

NOTE:  If you’re still unable to connect to the Internet, you may need to enter additional settings on the gateway.  To know more about different ISP settings, click here.  After verifying the settings contact our Technical Support team for further assistance.
