Checking the status of the Linksys WUMC710 wireless connection

The easiest way to check the status of your wireless connection is to note if the Linksys WUMC710 Wireless-AC Wi-Fi 5GHz Universal Media Connector Bridge with 4-Port Switch is getting a signal from your wireless router.  If the media connector is wirelessly connected to the router, the Wireless  LED should light up blue.  If it is not lit, the Linksys WUMC710 is not connected to any wireless router.  To learn how to connect the Linksys WUMC710 to a wireless router, click here.  To learn how to connect the media connector through Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), click here.

You may also check the media connector's web-based setup page to check its connection to the router.  To learn how, follow the steps below:

Step 1:
Access the Linksys WUMC710’s web-based setup page.  To learn how, click here.

Step 2:
Click on Status > Wireless Network.

 

The Link Status should say Connected and the Network Name (SSID) should display the name of your wireless network.
