How to test and monitor your Radius Server

Several application tools are available for free to help you test and monitor your Radius Server.  These are very useful especially when you need to configure or troubleshoot.  Some of these testing and monitoring tools are NTRadPing, RADIUS Test Rig Utility, Radlogin (Included With FreeRADIUS), Radlogin From IEA Software, RadPerf and others.
This article will help you learn how to test and monitor your Radius Server using NTRadPing.
QUICK TIP:  NTRadPing is a free tool from MasterSoft, developer of DialWays.  This program is available for Windows and doesn't require installation. 

Step 1:
Open a web browser and go to http://www.mastersoft-group.com/download/.
Step 2:
Select NTRadPing RADIUS Test Utility (Free) as your Product.

Click Next >.

Step 4:
After clicking the Next > button, you should see a pop-up window to download the file.  Select Save File then click OK.

NOTE:  If the pop-up window for download fails to appear after a few seconds, click the links provided to download manually.

Step 5:           
Locate the downloaded file then unzip.
Step 6:           
Double-click the User-added image file.
Step 7:           
Click Run.

You can now see, test and monitor your Radius Server using the NTRadPing Test Utility tool.

NOTE:  NTRadPing also has a User-added image button that you can use as guide in using the program correctly.
