Checking if the Linksys RE7000 is properly set up

Having a properly set up range extender ensures optimal and greater Wi-Fi speed, coverage and signal strength.  You can log into the Linksys RE7000 Max-Stream™ AC1900+ Wi-Fi Range Extender’s web-based management interface to check its status and if it has been properly set up.  Follow the steps below to proceed.
Step 1:
Access your range extender’s web-based setup page.  For instructions, click here
Step 2:
Under Status, click WLAN Statistics.

You will then see the Signal Strength of the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz uplinks that connect the Linksys RE7000 and the upstream access point or router.

Step 3:
On the WLAN Statistics screen, click User-added image.

Information about the connected wireless devices will then be displayed.

You can then check the Signal Strength’s status and test the range extender’s performance using your connected devices.  A better online experience indicates that it has been set up properly.
