How to use the Channel Finder feature of your Velop system

Wi-Fi signals broadcast on multiple channels.  The more number of Wi-Fi networks that use the same channel, the worse the performance will be for each of them.  Channel Finder
selects the channel with the least amount of traffic for each node in your Velop system

Directions
 
Step 1:
Log in to the Velop dashboard.  For instructions, click here.

Step 2:
Tap the Menu User-added image icon across the top-left side of the screen.
 
Step 3:
Tap Wi-Fi Settings.

Step 4:
Tap Advanced Wi-Fi Settings

Step 5:
Tap Channel Finder

Step 6:
Tap Scan Channels.

Your Velop system will turn off the Wi-Fi to scan channels and all devices will be disconnected temporarily.  If it finds better channels, Channel Finder will automatically make the changes for you.

If you are already using the best channels, Channel Finder will not make any changes.  Tap Done.

Step 7:
If there are any changes, tap Technical details to view the new channels.

The previous channels are on the left and if any channels were changed they will be displayed on the right side with an arrow.  In the example below, only the channel of the first 5 GHz band was changed (second row).  The channel was changed from 157 to 153

Tap the back arrow at the top-left corner and then tap Done to go back to Wireless settings.
