Overview of the Linksys EA8300’s light behavior

The Linksys EA8300 Max-Stream AC2200 MU-MIMO Tri-Band Router is ideal for busy families with multiple connected devices.  This router offers ample bandwidth for simultaneous 4K and HD video streaming, next-gen online gaming, and other data-heavy activities.  This article will show you the light behavior of the Linksys EA8300.

This light alternates with the WAN Physical connection light User-added image to indicate error found during system self-test (e.g., hardware / memory error)

The following lights will not be affected by the Activity Lights control in the router's web-based setup page:

  • Illuminated Linksys logo (Power)
  • WPS light
  • Internet Connection error
  • Physical link error at Internet (WAN) port
  • USB light
