How to change the LAN IP address of your Linksys Intelligent Mesh network

An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a unique identifier which consists of four sets of numbers from 0 to 255, separated by three dots.  This is required by all devices in the network to connect to the internet.  By default, the IP address of a node is 192.168.1.1.  To change its IP address, follow the steps below.

NOTE:  If the upstream device uses the same IP address, the node will automatically use a different LAN IP address to avoid any conflict.

Step 1:
Launch your Linksys app and access your account.  If you're using Android, click

Step 2:
Tap the Menu

Step 3:
Go to Advanced Settings and tap Local Network Settings

Step 4:
Under Router Details, tap on the IP address and Subnet Mask fields to make changes.  Tap Save once done.
