IP Passthrough mode setup for AT&T U-verse®

If you have AT&T U-verseĀ® services, you are required to use the gateway combo equipment supplied to you.Ā  The simplest solution to using the Velop system with U-verse is setting your gateway in IP Passthrough mode.Ā  Due to the nature of U-verse and the necessary requirements, it has to pass traffic on your network and setting your gateway in IP Passthrough mode will allow you to get all the same benefits of the Linksys Velop Intelligent Mesh Wi-Fi System while allowing U-verse to continue to manage all your networkā€™s routing.

Directions

To put your gateway in IP Passthrough mode, first connect your laptop or computer to the gateway.Ā  Then, connect Velop to your gateway.
Ā
Step 1:
Open a web browser and enter the IP address of your gateway located at the back label (ex. 192.168.1.254).Ā  Log in to the web-based setup page using the Access Code which you can find on the label of your gateway.
