- Overview of the Advanced Settings on the Linksys app
The Advanced Settings allows you to configure the Internet Settings, Port Settings, and Local Network Settings of your Velop Network using the Linksys app. This article gives you an overview of the Advanced Settings on the Linksys app.
|Connection Type||Tap to change the Connection Type. Options include DHCP, Static IP, PPPoE, PPTP, L2TP and Bridge Mode.|
|Additional Settings||Tap to change the MTU size or clone the MAC address.|
Use the Port Settings screen to add rules to send traffic from specific ports or ranges of ports to specific connected devices. You can also configure Velop to remember which ports a device uses to send data, so data returning through that port is sent to that device.
|Single Port Forwarding &|
Port Range Forwarding
|Tap to configure single or a range for port forwarding, edit existing rules, disable a rule or delete a rule.|
NOTE: All three sections will have an option to add a rule.
|Configure Port Range Triggering.|
Local Network Settings
Configure the local network settings of your Velop network.
|Router Details||Change the IP address settings of your Velop network.|
|DHCP Server||Change the DHCP server settings of your Velop network.|
|DNS Settings||Change the DNS settings of your Velop network. By default, Auto is selected. |
Tap to select Manual and scroll down to make the necessary DNS changes.
