Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy Cow! Even a baby can setup this router. This is the easiest setup router I had. Just turned off the modem, plugged the Cate5 cable to this router, and then turn on the modem and router. You are all done. You can surf the web by using the preset wifi password. Took me one mintue to surf the web. See, that is why even a baby can setup this router. I havn't try the button for adding the new devices. For the router admin web setup page, it very simple and clean web page interface (personal preference). Overall, I do like this router. Wi-Fi 6 will not disappointed becasue of the WPA3 security (I work at the University, security is everything, only Linksys' worker could hack your internet) . Even-though the internet prvoider limited my internet speed, the router does able to use 85-92% of the internet speed. I had a 100mbps for the internet, on the wifi side, I do able to get the 85% plus Mbps all the time. Forgot that the Latency never goes up to 20ms; and haven't have any dropped connection. Off-course the ehernet cable is better. One thing I do not like this router is the range. I live in SF, with all the walls up. Good luck that the wifi will cover the whole house. I added a Deco M4 as an AccessPoint (do get the same wifi speed).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy setup, great security options This router feels like the Little Black Dress in the Linksys lineup. It's form-fitting, versatile, and works great in business and casual settings. Setup comes in two flavors– Use the wizard to handle basic configuration or kill the wizard and customize all the setup features yourself (I have nothing against wizards, their spells and outfit are pretty awesome). What I really like about this router is that it supports WiFi6, WPA3 *and* WPA2 Enterprise for the security conscious, has a USB3 port that can be configured as a file server or a media server (or both), and is both powerful and compact. Gigabit ports? Got 'em. Beamforming? That's baked in, too. Honestly, the only thing I can fault this router for is its form factor. You can only set it up vertically, which is a tad uncommon in the router world. Laying this thing horizontally is awkward, since the stand is built into the shell itself. But frankly, it's a small aesthetic price to pay for what is otherwise a very capable and robust router, and I suspect this decision had something to do with the internal antenna. The only feature it really lacks is mesh capability, but honestly I'd gladly trade that for all the other features this router *does* have. Little Black Dress, we're going places.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just too easy Have set up and configured many routers from several brands. This was the easiest yet. First time setting a router up from my cell phone. Plug in and power up the router, select router from available routers, input given password and viola - you are on line. The router immediately, without me doing anything, asked me to provide names (said) for 2.4 and 5 GHz bands plus passwords for each. Then asks for new router password and most people are done. Whole process took less than five minutes - I’m guessing more like about 2 minutes. Speed - prior router (less than 1 year old) speeds (using Ookla Speedtest and same BBC connections - I see a 30 foot distant connection rising from a multiple test average of 272 Mbps to 345 Mbps. Distance has also increased - at about a 60 foot distance plus additional walls I see a similar increase in speed and better connection strength (as shown on phone signal). Logged on to my laptop and see the same results. Accessed the router settings page - very easy and very intuitive. Connected my Ring Door Bell system and my security system. The speed increase is obvious. Now I’ll be able to monitor security in more real time than before. I was provided this router (AX 1800 Dual Band WiFi 6) to test and to provide honest evaluation. This router has made setup issues a thing of the past while providing easy adjustments/configuration and features for those needing more advanced configuration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice little router that won't dissapoint I added this to our existing network set-up as I was interested in the WiFi 6 technology and speeds. I like the sleek look and design of this router. However, it is not built to be mounted on a wall but rather sit on a flat surface. Not a problem as it does not take up as much space as some other horizontal routers that can be mounted on vertical surfaces. I ran a few speedtests to see if I was getting the promised speeds from both the device as well as my ISP provider. Our service plan is a modest 300/30 and with this router I am getting 276/35. So not losing too much speed on my connected laptop which is very old. I have noticed web pages and responsiveness being much faster compared to our WiFi 5 E5350 router which was previously connected in the office. The E5350 would peak at only 96/25 speeds. Set up was fairly simple as with the newer Linksys easy setup. However, I opted to manually configure this so I could set it up offline first and change the default passwords and other settings. It has the familiar web browser interface though I did notice some slight differences in the layout of the pages and features. I would recommend this router if you are looking to maximize your speeds throughout your home. Especially if you have a smaller area that you need to cover with WiFi. For my purposes, this does a great job with delivering the speeds I need without needing to rely on a USB adapter for my dated laptop. Using this router provides super fast speed and reliability.
