Linksys AC1900

NEXT-GEN AC DELIVERS POWERFUL WI-FI TO MULTIPLE DEVICES

The Linksys MAX-STREAM AC1900 features MU-MIMO, the latest advance toward uninterrupted, simultaneous Wi-Fi connections.

Devices such as HD streaming media players, 4K TVs, tablets, and game consoles use a lot of bandwidth. But with MU-MIMO (Multi-User, Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output) technology, the MAX-STREAM AC1900 sends advanced Wi-Fi to multiple devices at the same time and same speed. Your whole family can play, stream, and work at once, without experiencing lag or buffering--at up to 2x the speed of a non-MU-MIMO router.*

Dual-Band Diagram

ENJOY COMBINED WI-FI SPEEDS UP TO 1.9 Gbps

Our MAX-STREAM AC1900 Multi User-MIMO Router offers two dedicated Wi-Fi bands that deliver combined speeds of up to 1.9 Gbps. It also allows you to make your time online more efficient: simply assign high-bandwidth activities, like 4K video streaming, to the high-speed 5 GHz band, and leave basic activities like email to the 2.4 GHz band.

POWERFUL PROCESSOR FOR IMPROVED PERFORMANCE

Enjoy fast-paced Wi-Fi activities such as online multiplayer gaming with the MAX-STREAM AC1900. Powered by a dual-core processor, it is capable of handling three simultaneous data streams. This results in improved Wi-Fi performance and faster Wi-Fi speeds to more devices.

HIGH-SPEED WIRED CONNECTIVITY WITH GIGABIT ETHERNET PORTS

Connect more devices and share files at speeds 10x faster than Fast Ethernet with four Gigabit Ethernet ports. Connect a storage device and quickly transfer files. Or, share devices such as printers across your Wi-Fi network using the USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports.

IMPROVED Wi-Fi SPEED AND RANGE WITH BEAMFORMING

Direct Wi-Fi signals to each of your mobile devices to increase signal strength and coverage with our MAX-STREAM Wi-Fi router using Beamforming technology. Play video games, listen to music, check emails, shop online, stream HD movies, and more, without having to worry about dropped signals.

ALEXA WI-FI ACCESS

With Alexa, you can easily manage Wi-Fi access for devices and individuals in the home, taking focus away from screens and back to what’s important. Say commands like “Alexa, turn off Timmy’s Wi-Fi”, when it’s time for dinner or “Alexa, enable guest Wi-Fi” when you have people over.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked for a day I bought this to replace the google router that my roommate took when they moved bc it was a good sale price. when setting it up, it refused to acknowledge that it was set up correctly even tho it worked. when i got home from work today, it was not working. i was able to get it to work again for only about 5 minutes before it stopped working again. After unplugging and doing all of the usual tricks, the lights where the ethernet cord plugs in wouldn't light up. even after factory resetting from the guide online, it still wouldn't work. I will be returning this and never buying another linksys router as long as i can help it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weak 5GHz Speed Recently upgraded to a gigabit plan with my ISP, upgraded my modem to a DOSCIS 3.1 to support the improved speeds. Directly wired I get up to 1 Gbps as advertised, but on wireless, even 5 GHz which is advertised to get up to 1,300 Mbps, doesn't even break 350. On any device. Even directly next to the router. At one point I even thought it was faulty antennae and replaced them, but nope, same speeds. Within a few months ordered a similar router which was able to deliver the 1 Gbps to my devices even over 5 GHz WiFi. If you have an internet plan greater than 300 Mbps and rely on those speeds, I wouldn't recommend this router.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HUGE Piece of Trash Hard to work with from day one. My old E2500 worked and connected with the TV as soon as the TV was turned on. THIS NEVER DID!! Called Tech Support 3 or 4 times spending over 5 hours with them and carrying out the instructions each different tech suggested. Never did get it to work right. Returned it. Makes me leery of Linksys and may never buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointed I haven't owned a linksys in a while only because my Verizon supplied router was getting the job done, until that is, when I decided to segment off my home network using subnets. They restrict any useful setting they can think of. That's when I remembered linksys made top notch products, atleast they used to. I knew they acquired by belkin but figured who would mess with a great product line and a sure thing. This brand has lost its way. The unit I purchased (EA7450) was absolutely disappointing. It was fast I will not deny that, but only when it wasn't causing problems. Those problems by the way, don't come with many options to fix them. There are no detailed / fine settings on this thing AT ALL. Possibly it's because I am too spoiled from the brands rich past. 2 vlan settings each for 3 physical ports and nothing more. Won't let you subnet. There are 4 pages of settings with on average 3 settings per page. That's all. It seems like this router is intended for someone with 1 computer, nothing else, and no experience whatsoever with technology outside of that. If that's the case, ADVERTISE IT THAT WAY! Don't leave the customer to make assumptions based on glitter and glam and not facts. Atleast I'm not out the money, I returned it. No way I could keep the god awful thing. I went with a another brand and the router actually has better specs and performance as well as the desired adjustments that a router of that caliber should. Won't even consider linksys again. Call Cisco. You dropped the ball.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of Junk Worked great until there was a power outage. Wouldn't come back online. Wouldn't recognize my router password. Could never connect to it again. Took it outside and tossed it 20ft up into the air and let it smash into a 100 pieces on the ground. As I get older, I've lost my patience with finicky network crap. I get more satisfaction in smashing them on the ground.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Router I just installed this router yesterday. The signal is super strong anywhere in the house and amazingly fast too. Speed tests show 150 mbps, which is the exact speed I subscribed to my ISP. The router before this could never go over 65 mbps. I was only getting about half the bandwidth I subscribed for. This router gives full bandwidth that you pay for

*Two or more 1x1 MU-MIMO-enabled client devices must be connected to achieve the two (2) times faster physical data rate.
**The standard transmission rates–600 Mbps or 1300 Mbps (for 5 GHz), 600 Mbps (for 2.4 GHz), 54 Mbps, and 11 Mbps–are the physical data rates. Actual data throughput will be lower and may depend on the mix of wireless products used and external factors.
