Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Works great and easily connected to our ISP Easily connected to our ISP Wi-Fi router and plugged in a printer. Used to always disconnect but now works all the time with the new Linksys extender. Going to get more. Well worth the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Signal drops frequently I am using the extender as an access point and the signal frequently drops for no reason. I was using an older model (RE7000) in the same location and with the same computer for several years and never had a problem. Speed was go when it worked. I was upgrading to use WiFi 6 but there is definitely some quality issues.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do NOT buy if you have VELOP router This product advertises that it will work with any router, and when I chatted with someone before buying, they told me that it work well to extend my existing Velop mesh setup. When I received the product; however, and was chatting with a very rude individual whose name was just showing as "Reo R", I learned that this would apparently be 'conflicting technologies' and was not recommended for use with the Velop routers. I informed him that this was misleading, especially since there is a photo of a velop router on this product page. His response was "no it's not, technically it will work, it's just not recommended". I've been a long term Linksys customer and like the other products I have, past customer service I've received, but this guy was very unpleasant to deal with, and now I have to return this thing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great add on Decent speed and easy add onto my Velop system. I added another node to my bedroom with lackluster speed, this unit for a fraction of the cost works just as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad decision - buyer beware Just bought and unboxed, not a good fit for my home where I have a lot of metal and getting the device to communicate to my MX5300. The product data was misleading that the Ethernet port on the bottom is to add a field device, where I was hoping to use a hard connection from my router to this device in a mesh config. 45 minutes chatting with Daisy Jane P where I knew more about the set up than she did, she says I have to first troubleshoot with tech support, isn’t that what her sole purpose was? Linksys people, I just don’t have that time to spend all night chatting with you. I need a call ASAP on order # LK08408405. Nothing in your return policy states that I have to call tech support before returning, and Daisy Jane was that call and refused to issue a RMA. I’ve always been a loyal Linksys customer and have 2 MX5300’s. This is really giving me a bad vibe on the company, there are other choices. Chat session/Case # 14319659

Will this effect my access to my home server by creating a subnet and interfering with mDNS. All .local connections to my server have to be on the LAN network?

Asked by: rick_A
It should not, rick_A. The RE7350 will only extend the coverage of your network, providing a bridge for devices to connect to the main router's network even when they are out of its direct range, ensuring that all connected devices remain part of the same network.

Hi! The answer varies depending on your network environment. You can experiment by moving the extender gradually and monitoring the LED indicator. In terms of coverage, it's intended to span up to 2000 square feet.

Will this work with the new spectrum Sax1V1R Wifi 6 Router?  if so, how do I install it?  Spectrum just has the app to control it...no dashboard, and no WPS button.

Asked by: Holly
Hi, Holly. The RE7350 extender should work fine as long as there’s an active WiFi connection that it can connect to. Here’s a setup guide: https://bit.ly/3FvRdRe
