You can set up your Linksys Wireless-AC Wi-Fi 5GHz Universal Media Connector Bridge with 4-Port Switch using the device’s Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) feature, making it easier for you to configure your wireless network. This article will give you instructions on how to set up the media connector with your Linksys Wireless-N Router.
To do this, you need to perform two (2) steps:
Enable the Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ on the router
Enable the Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ on the media connector
NOTE: The Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ configures one (1) device at a time. It is important that the router is set to WPA2 security mode to avoid devices getting disconnected during the WPS connection configuration.

Step 1:
Locate and press the WPS button on your router. Your router’s WPS button is located either on the front or back panel.
NOTE: Alternatively, you can access your router’s web-based setup page and configure WPS from there by clicking on the same WPS button. To access your router’s web-based setup page, click here for instructions. If you’re using a Mac® computer, click here.
Use this method if your client device has a WPS Personal Identification Number (PIN).
NOTE: This method assumes that you already have your client device’s PIN. If you’re not sure where to acquire your client device’s WPS PIN, refer to its product documentation.
Step 1:
Access your router’s web-based setup page. To learn how, click here.
NOTE: If you are using a Mac® computer to access the router’s web-based setup page, click here.
Step 2:
Click on the Wireless tab, then select the Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ radio button.
Step 3:
Enter your client device’s PIN in the blank field, and then click the Register button.

Step 2:
Click on the Wireless tab.
Step 3:
Two (2) minutes after enabling the router’s WPS, select the Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ radio button.
Step 4:
When the media connector is configured, click .
The Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ screen will display the Link Status, Network Name (SSID), and Security method.
