What is the Linksys Wi-Fi Router, E3200?

The Linksys Wi-Fi Router, E3200 High Performance Dual-Band N Router is one of the latest innovations of the Wireless-N technology.

  • It is equipped with the latest version of Linksys Connect software, for easier set up and network management.
  • Simultaneously broadcasts 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.

NOTE:  To make sure that your router is broadcasting a wireless signal for your network, you may check if your wireless network name or SSID is in the list of available networks.  You may also change your router’s wireless network name and password to your preferred settings.  To learn how, click here.

  • The new Guest access feature makes sharing Internet access to other wireless devices possible while maintaining  maximum security to your home network.
  • Four (4) Gigabit Ethernet ports on the back that can provide faster data transfer on your wired network.
  • Inter-operable with Wireless B, G, and N network devices.

  Ethernet Ports 1, 2, 3, 4 -  The green light turns ON when the local network port is connected to a 10/100/1000 Gigabit port.

  Internet Port - The green light turns ON when the Internet port is connected to a 10/100/1000 Gigabit port.

  Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) Button - You can use Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ to automatically configure wireless security for your wireless network.

 Power - Lights up when your device is powered ON.

 Power Port - The Power port connects to the included power adapter.

 USB Port - The USB port connects to a USB storage device. 

NOTE:  The Linksys Wi-Fi, E3200 USB port supplies up to 1000 mA power on devices.  It is also FAT32, NTFS, HFS+journaled and non-journaled capable for data storing formats.  For a list of tested USB storage devices, click here.

 Reset Button - Press and hold the Reset button for approximately five (5) seconds.  Alternatively, you can restore to the default settings by accessing the Administration > Factory Defaults in the router’s web-based set up page.  To know more about resetting your device, click here.

NOTE:  The Reset button of the Linksys Wi-Fi Router, E3200 is found at the bottom of the router.
