Rated 2 out of 5 by from Noisy fan! Bought this for use in a rack in my office, but the fan noice is of a such kind that it is unsuitable for working in the same room. Ok for hidden rack usage, but forget to work beside it! An unmanaged switch should not sound like this in 2019!

I am looking for mounting brackets for Linksys LGS124P. Can you point me in the right direction.

Asked by: SteveD
The package contents of the Linksys LGS124P only includes the following: Linksys LGS124P 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ Switch, Power Cord, and Quick Start Guide. Moreover, regarding the mounting brackets, we don't sell parts separately. We suggest that you check its availability from your online retailers and local stores.

Dose the switch support LAG (link aggregation) with your Access points model LAPC2600C.

Asked by: bbrunet
Hi. The LGS124P switch does not support link aggregation as it’s an unmanaged switch.

if this switch is unmanaged, how does QoS work?? i see no instructions and can't find a user/setup guide... LGS124P 24-Port Business Gigabit PoE+ Switch Thx

Asked by: bsurf
Hi! The LGS124P supports QoS. However, since it is not possible to implement or configure QoS for unmanaged switches, this feature is for classification and markings only. Refer to this page for more information about the product: https://www.linksys.com/us/P-LGS124P-Linksys/p/P-LGS124P/

Hello ... i just bought linksys lgs124p switch .. i need to know how to access to it to manage the POe ports... by other meaning what it's IP Address? Thanks in advance

Asked by: Hitch
Hi, Hitch. The LGS124P doesn't have a user interface as it is just a plug and play device. Its IP address will also depend on what was assigned by the router. Check it from the router's DHCP list instead.

My question is about a network switch with WebView is that a necessity? I have one currently but it needs to be replaced (fans getting very noisy) so i'm wondering what is the purpose of the WebView, maybe i don't need that feature. Thanks

Asked by: Konrad
Hi, Konrad. If the noise coming from the fan of the switch is beyond the 40.2Db, then we highly advise to reach out to the manufacturer first. If you have a Linksys switch, then email us at LinksysCares@linksys.com so we can assist you further from there.

We purchased the LGS124P switch.we are utilizing port 8080 on server, laptops when connected to switch cannot access through port 8080, we added port forward 8080 on the router so laptops access via wifi.how to change on switch for port 8080 or open port
