The Linksys WRT3200ACM Gigabit Wi-Fi Router is the latest Wireless-AC router from Linksys designed with powerful enterprise-grade hardware and flexible software options for savvy customization.  Built with beamforming technology, this Smart Wi-Fi concurrent dual-band 4 x 4 Gigabit router delivers a maximum speed of 600 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and up to 2.6 Gbps on the 5 GHz band.

User-added image Adjustable and detachable external antennas – This router ships with four (4) external dipole detachable antennas that should be connected to the router before powering it ON.  To connect the antennas, twist the antenna connector clockwise onto the antenna port on the router.
 
NOTE:  The antennas are adjustable to customize your wireless signal for single or multi-story buildings and are removable to accommodate upgrades.

  • All external antennas are in upward position.  This is the antenna positioning that is recommended for a single-story home.

  • Below are the recommended antenna positioning for a multi-story home:

    a. Rear antennas straight up, side antennas angled outwards (away from the router) 45°.
    b. Side antennas straight up, rear antennas angled outwards (away from each other) 45°.

User-added image ETHERNET ports – Use Ethernet cables to connect wired devices to these blue Gigabit (10/100/1000) ports.
 
NOTE:  For best performance, use CAT5E or higher rated cables on the Ethernet ports.

User-added image INTERNET port – Use an Ethernet cable to connect a broadband Internet Cable/DSL or fiber modem to this yellow Gigabit (10/100/1000) port.

User-added image USB 2 (USB 3.0) port – Connect and share a USB drive or printer in your network or on the Internet.

User-added image USB 1 (USB/eSATA) port – Connect and share a USB 2.0 or eSATA drive in your network or on the Internet.  You can also connect a USB printer, but only one (1) device to the port, and share it across your network.

User-added image RESET button – Press and hold this button for 10 seconds (until the power LED starts flashing) to reset the router to factory settings.  You can also restore the factory settings using the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Account or the mobile app.
