Managing multiple devices through the Linksys app

The Device section in the Linksys app provides an overview of your home network(s), displaying a list of all the devices that are currently or previously connected to your networks. Tapping on a device provides you with specific identification information and enables you to customize how the device is displayed in Linksys Smart WiFi. This article will provide you with instructions on how to manage multiple devices through the Devices section of your Linksys app.

Before proceeding, it is necessary to download and install the Linksys app on your
Android™ or iOS device. Also, note that the steps and images depicted may differ depending on the operating system of your mobile device and the version of the Linksys app.

2. On the dashboard, tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner.
3. Tap Devices.
4. The list of devices and routers or nodes will be displayed under Connected Devices. Devices that are connected will show a WiFi or ethernet icon beside it. Tap any connected device.

When you see duplicate names on the Devices, check if the device name appears in the Offline Devices section. Tap Edit and delete the device with the duplicate names. You should now have one device in the online section. This may be due to devices having randomized MAC addresses turned ON by default. You also have the option to turn OFF this feature on your client device.

5. Under the device name, you will find information about its connection. You may replace the device's icon by tapping Change Icon.

6. Tap the arrow beside Priority By Device or Parental Controls to modify its settings.

7. Tap Save to apply the changes you made.

If you want to switch to another device, go back to Connected Devices and tap another device from the list.
