SETUP AND INSTALLATION


1.  What is its default IP address?

The switch is a DHCP client by default.  When no DHCP server is detected, it will default to the IP address of 192.168.1.251.

If the switch is on its default settings, you will automatically be prompted to change the default password.  To edit the user name and password manually, follow the steps below:
 
Step 1:
Access the web interface of your switch.  For instructions, click here.

Step 2:
Click on Management > User Management.

Step 3:
Click the +Add button to add an account or the Edit button to edit an existing account.

 
NOTE:  Use the User Management page to control management access to the switch based on manually configured user names and passwords.  A User account can only view settings without the right to configure the switch, and an Admin account can configure all the functions of the switch.
