Overview of the Linksys 5G Mobile Hotspot Dashboard

The Dashboard is a snapshot of the Linksys 5G Mobile Hotspot.  It displays information such as the number of devices connected to the network, battery level and data consumption.  To access the Dashboard, log in to the mobile hotspot's web interface.  For instructions, click here.

Description
Menu

Tap the menu icon to access the different features, log out or power OFF the mobile hotspot.

Battery

The Dashboard displays the battery level of the device.

When the device is being charged, the battery will appear as User-added image.
WiFi Name and Share Password

The WiFi Name is displayed on the upper-left corner of the screen.  You can tap on it or go to the WiFi Settings for more details.

  • Tap on Copy to copy the Wi-Fi credentials and share them for others to connect.
  • Tap on Details to go to WiFi Settings.
When the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands are both disabled, the WiFi Off message is displayed on the screen.
 
Signal state

The signal state is also shown on the Dashboard.  The signal will change depending on the network coverage displaying 5G, 4G and 3G, for example.

Connected Devices

This displays the total number of clients connected to the mobile hotspot.

Data Usage
The Dashboard displays real-time data consumption for the entire month or since you connected to the network.  Tap on the tiles for more information.

Notifications
The Restart your hotspot to install new firmware prompt will appear on the bottom of the Dashboard if a new firmware is available.  A firmware check happens every 24 hours and every time the mobile hotspot restarts.

The prompt below will appear if an attempt to connect through the USB failed.

The following prompt will appear if there is no SIM card inserted on the SIM tray of the mobile hotspot.

The following prompt will appear if the SIM card inserted on the SIM tray is invalid.

The Unlock SIM card prompt will appear if the SIM needs to be unlocked with a PIN.  Enter the PIN and tap Unlock.

If there are three failed PIN entries, a Personal Unblocking Key (PUK) will be required.
